I have a grey permit and I have to walk a little farther each day than last year. However, it does not bother me to walk further because I like getting the exercise. Fortunately I knew that parking would be tight so I bought my permit well before the semester started.
I think new students got a raw deal because they did not know or understand how tight the parking would be this year. Administration failed when they did not send out a warning to students to sign up early, or else risk not having a permit. I knew this based on my knowledge of the construction and the rising enrollment. New students probably would not have known this. I assume this because they have not been around for a year to see the growth that is occuring.
