The bit about living under political tyranny was meant to be a joke, but whatever.

The VanCougar may wind up interviewing Howard Dean when he comes to Vancouver in April. There aren't any guarantees, and while nothing is for sure yet, we are optimistic. Should this come to fruition, what are some of the questions you would ask if you were in our shoes? What would you ask him if you had the chance?

The theme of his visit will be largely focusing on youth in today's politics and the citizenship.

What exactly doesn't the Democratic Party "get"? And how is Dean responsible for the loss of more "blue states"? How will he be, if/when he is elected as DNC chair?

As well, the "part time activists" did, in fact, get out to the polls in 2004. What they didn't count on, however, is that everyone across the board did, too. It was more than just dishelved youth that took heed to P.Diddy's message.

I'm not saying everything is fine, but what is it the dems have to figure out? Why are they losing ground? I can't answer any of this.

My only guess would be that they have not been (on the whole) as vocal about religion as Republicans, and faith still goes a long way in this country, for better or worse.

That's all I got, I really can't figure it out. It's just a shot in the dark, for all I know. Maybe that's a question I can ask Dean.
