Thanks to all that are are reading this and doing their part to make it a constructive forum. We might supplant the blog with a message board BBS next semester, because the main shortcoming (in response to Stephan's question) is that only VanCougar folks can create posts. Send us topics you want to discuss, and we might put up new posts accordingly.
Also, off-topic ... next Monday and Tuesday, The VanCougar will be taking part in an on-campus Free Speech Forum, moderated by Mark Stephan, PhD. They will be onOctober November 15 and 16 from 11:30 - 1 p.m. in VEHD 103. I encourage all to come on in and take part in the forum discussing how free speech has been impacted on campus. It should be good.

I really doubt the known violators of free speech will show up to this. I would find it comical, however, if they protested it (using free speech against free speech).
We're not saying the violaters will show up; we're just going to discuss free speech on campus, recent events and what can be done with whoever is interested.
But yes, I would like to see them protest (good front page photo!). :-)
I hope you meant November 15 and 16, rather than October 15 and 16.
